Northwestern College Names Dimitrios Kriaras Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing

[Rosemont, IL] – Northwestern College President Lawrence Schumacher has named Dimitrios Kriaras as Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing for the College.  Kriaras returns to the College after most recently serving as the Campus President of Everest College in Bedford Park. Previously, he had worked for three and a half years at Northwestern College as the Campus Director for its Chicago-Jefferson Park Campus. 

Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing is a newly created position for Northwestern College.  It was designed to assist in the continued growth of the college by attracting new students to each of Northwestern College’s three campuses (Bridgeview, Chicago and Naperville) in addition to its NC Online.  The position will also include overseeing of training and development for Admissions staff on all campuses.

“I realize these are challenging times for all of higher education, but I believe my expertise in Admissions along with the great relationships I built here at Northwestern College will yield the recipe for success in moving the College forward to meet the needs of today’s career-minded students,” commented Kriaras.  “I’m excited to take on this role and the responsibility of introducing potential new students to the great things that Northwestern College has to offer!”

Kriaras returns to Northwestern College bringing a wealth of experience to this newly created post.  He had previously served for several years as a Campus Director for Northwestern College, so he maintains a full understanding of the workings of the College and all of its campuses.  Kriaras had first come to Northwestern College in 2008 after serving as the Regional Director of Admissions at International Education Corporation in Irvine, California and as Director of Admissions at both Everest College in Chicago and Western Career College in Antioch, California.  Prior to serving as a Director of Admissions, Kriaras also spent three years as the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at Westwood College in Chicago. 

   Kriaras, nearly a five year resident of Addison, Illinois, earned his Associates of Applied Science in Electronic Computer Technology and his Bachelor of Science in Technical Management, both from DeVry University in Addison, Illinois.
