How many homeless youth are there every year in Illinois?  Why do they become homeless?  What challenges and assets do they find in the midst of homelessness? Reverend David Weasley, Community and Congregational Relations Coordinator of The Night Ministry, will address these questions and more, including a brief video.

For 35 years The Night Ministry has provided Chicago’s vulnerable and homeless youth and adults with safety net services such as housing, healthcare, and outreach in an open, affirming and accepting manner.  It offers immediate services on the street via a mobile health bus, and long term shelter and supportive service programs for homeless youth.  A charity with an esteemed reputation, The Night Ministry’s programs have become models for groups working with homeless populations around the world.
