19-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies after Striking Semi in Woodridge
A 19-year-old man from Justice, IL, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner's office.
A 19-year-old man from Justice, IL, died Friday afternoon in west suburban Woodridge after his motorcycle struck a semi-tractor trailer, according to police.
John Waksmundzki was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:27 p.m. near the intersection of 107th Street and Joliet Road in Woodridge, the Will County Coroner's Office reported.
spokeswoman Kate Andris said no details were immediately available on what caused the accident. DuPage County’s Felony Investigative Assistance Team was working Friday night to reconstruct the crash.

“They are out there right now, and we should know more on Monday morning,” Andris said Friday night.
