The Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District is hosting an open house Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Station 89 on Lyman Avenue in Darien.
The event will feature a rope operations demonstration, the famous firefighter fashion show, vehicle extrication and a live burn, according to the event flyer.
“Junior firefighters” can look forward to seeing the fire pole, button making and more.
