Gregory Bahnsen, 25, from the 6000 block of Lee Avenue in Downers Grove, was arrested around 2:15 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Woodward Avenue and 75th Street, said.

Someone removed $120 in cash from an employee’s purse at Cinemark, 6500 Route 53, around 6 p.m., police said.

Retail theft, possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, resisting a police officer
Vincent Henson, 18, from 18 W. 065 Standish Lane, Villa Park, was arrested around 9 p.m. and charged with retail theft, possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and resisting a police officer following an incident at Dominick’s, 2333 63rd St., police said.
Car window smashed, purse stolen
Someone smashed the passenger side window of a car and stole a purse containing various credit cards, cash and a cell phone between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. in the 6600 block of Route 53, police said.
