Sandals, 2 shirts taken from Kohl's
Jorge Torres, 33, from the 400 block of Greentree Line in Bolingbrook, was arrested around 4:50 p.m. and charged with retail theft after he removed a pair of sandals and two shirts from , 1001 75th St., police said.

Someone marked the north side of the underpass at Interstate 355 at Internationale Parkway with graffiti around 6 a.m., police said.
Copper stolen from residence

An intruder gained entry to a residence in the 9100 block of Witham Lane and removed a large amount of copper around 7:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., police said.
Driving under the influence
Aaron Musyl, 40, from the 600 block of 2nd Street in Sterling, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 53 and 83rd Street, police said.

Julie Grasser, 21, from the 8800 block of Dryden St. was arrested around 3 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Woodward Avenue and 75th Street, police said.
