Police Blotter: Purse Stolen During Late-Night Movie

Feb. 16
Driving under the influence
Abel Garcia-Dominguez, 28, from the 2600 block of Forest Drive, was arrested around 9:15 p.m. and charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding following a traffic stop near the intersection of Janes Avenue and Waterbury Drive, police said.

Door marked with spray paint

Someone marked the door to a residence in the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue with spray paint between 7 p.m. on Feb. 12 and 9:25 a.m. on Feb. 15, police said.
Feb. 12
Smash and grab
Someone smashed the passenger side window of a car in the 6600 block of Route 53 and removed a purse between 5:15 p.m. and 6:40 p.m., police said.
Feb. 11
Purse stolen during movie
Someone removed the purse of a patron while she was watching a movie between 10 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. at Cinemark at Seven Bridges, 6500 Route 53, police said.
Taillight shattered
Someone shattered the tailgate window of a vehicle between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. in the 8400 block of Mending Wall Drive, police said.
Theft from Kohl's
A 16-year-old from Naperville was arrested around 12:20 p.m. and charged with retail theft after he or she took various pieces of clothing from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., police said.
Driving under the influence
Zachary Antonoff, 21, from the 2800 block of Grissom Court, was arrested around 12:15 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop near the intersection of Hobson Drive and Hobson Court, police said.
Driving under the influence
Evgeni Okuney, 22, from the 5700 block of Lyman Avenue in Downers Grove, was arrested around 2:30 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while license suspended following a traffic stop in the 7000 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.
Feb. 10
Unlawful use of weapon
Ruwa Hampton, 35, from the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive in Downers Grove, was arrestd around 1:20 a.m. and charged with unlawful use of a weapon and warrant service following a traffic stop in the 2400 block of 63rd Street, police said. Officers discovered Hampton was in possession of a knife at the time of his arrest.
