Purse disturbed in car, nothing stolen

Someone dumped the contents of a purse on the passenger side floor of a vehicle but did not remove any items around midnight in the 10000 block of Woodward Avenue, said. 

Car mirror smashed, front tire slashed

Someone smashed the driver’s side mirror and slashed the front tire of a car during the overnight hours between May 20 and May 21 in the 2400 block of Emerald Court, police said. 

Plants stolen from Home Depot 

Someone stole various plants located just outside the front entrance of Home Depot, 7200 Woodward Ave., around 9 a.m., police said. 

Lights damaged at Janes Avenue Skate Park 

Someone damaged the switch to the lights surrounding Janes Avenue Skate Park, 7925 Janes Ave., May 21, rendering them inoperable, police said. The damage was discovered around 3:10 p.m.
