Saturday Welcome Home Set for Woodridge Police Officer, Marine Reservist
Guerra is returning home from a deployment in Afghanistan. A celebration on Saturday at 8 p.m. has been organized in his honor.
The will welcome back one of its own from a deployment to Afghanistan Saturday.
James Guerra has been a member of the Marine Corps for 15 years and a Woodridge police officer for 9 years. His reserve unit was activated last June.
Woodridge police officers, members of local fire departments and members of Operation Welcome You Home will greet Guerra at the Woodridge Police Department on Saturday at 8 p.m.

The public is welcome to attend and join in on the celebration.
