Several Girl Scout Troops joined each other May 18 and had the ultimate 100
anniversary bridging ceremony. During this memorable community event, Girl Scouts from the level of Brownie to Ambassador were bridged to the next level of Girl Scouts.
First, we had the Junior Troop 50258 help Brownie Troop 51357 fly up to be Juniors. Guided by their leaders, Diane Moca and Carissa Hunter, they all got bridged, they said what they learned and enjoyed in their Brownie experience, and then said what they wanted to learn as a junior.

The Brownies, guided by their leaders wrote this down on an adorable paper owl and glued them to biodegradable balloons. Then, they said “Fly up Brownie” and let the balloon go up into the air!
Next it was the Juniors turn to fly. The Cadette’s bridged these awesome young
girls. The Juniors made individual ribbons with their names and personal decorations representing themselves. These ribbons were added to the troop flag, symbolizing the individuals that combine to create our unique troop.

After they were bridged, they received key pendant necklace from their Troop Leader Tondra Arenz. These necklaces symbolized, “You’re the key to the future," said co-leader, Edie Crowley. Lastly, two Cadettes were bridged to Ambassador.
After the ceremony, we had a photo shoot and received more presents. The
Brownies, now Juniors, gave us incredible flashlights we could use this summer
for Girl Scout Camp. The Brownies received green biodegradable balloons themselves.
Then there was an after party with, you guessed it, Girl Scout Cookies.
