Woodridge's Cop on Top Raises $2,800 for Special Olympics
The fundraiser took place on Friday at Woodridge's two Dunkin' Donuts locations.
The raised $2,800 for the Special Olympics of Illinois Friday during the annual "Cop on Top" fundraiser.
Woodridge police officers were on hand at both Dunkin' Donuts locations (( and 1920 87th St.) asking for donations. Anyone who donatd received a coupon for a free donut, and those who donated $10 or more received a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug.
The department raised $3,100 through the event last year.
