'Watchdog' Todd Milliron Targeted by Kendall County Coroner

"I'm tired of him screwing around with everybody," Coroner Toftoy said.

First the Kendall County Coroner was accused of mocking a dead woman’s body parts, then he was said to have given a Cook County official’s wife a coroner’s badge in exchange for favors, now the coroner and a Kendall County board member appear to be targeting Todd Milliron, who is running for the Kendall County Board.

According to audio recordings obtained by WSPY, coroner Ken Toftoy and Kendall County Board Member Matthew Prochaska are heard talking about how they’re going to deal with a problem like Milliron.

“So, what are we gonna do with that Todd,” Toftoy said.

“I have no flipping idea how to wrangle that man in,” Prochaska said.

Toftoy then says he went by Milliron’s house and noticed that he has two abandoned vehicles in the driveway.

“I’m tired of him screwing around with everybody,” Toftoy said. “I want to talk to (Code Official) Brian Holdiman and say ‘Hey, you know what, buddy. It’s time that somebody fights back at him. Puts a little water on his fire.’”

Toftoy then talked about trying to find if Milliron could be pursued because he runs a business out of his home, hoping it would conflict with zoning codes.

Milliron, who refers to himself as the ”Watchdog of Kendall County,” told Patch he thoughts the words were abhorrent and disturbing.

Milliron is no stranger to controversy. In November 2013, he was sued over a Patch blog he wrote.

In the blog, Milliron wrote that former Kendall County Judge Jim Wilson has patronage appointment from Coroner Toftoy, which “allows him to possess a “conceal and carry” 9mm firearm with associated county liability insurance protection.” Milliron said in the blog that’s something the taxpayers funded at a cost of $429.93.
