Bloomington's Thomson on city branding, new police station (ipm.org) — Bloomington's mayor outlines plans for a new public safety building at 714 South Rogers that will house police, dispatch, and an emergency operations center, funded through a TIF-backed bond. IU baseball player facing Florida sexual cyber harassment charges after allegedly exploiting a woman, recording her without consent (wthr.com) — An Indiana University baseball player based in Bloomington is facing sexual cyber harassment charges in Florida, accused of sharing explicit images and video of an underage woman without her consent. Court documents describe alleged online distribution to thousands of viewers and efforts to hide his identity, while IU athletics has not yet commented on his status with the university.
   

4. Indiana Men's Basketball Big Ten Schedule Includes Purdue Home Game Feb. 16 (bloomingtonian.com) — Indiana men's basketball fans in Bloomington can circle Feb. 16 for a home showdown against Purdue at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, part of a 20-game Big Ten slate. The schedule features several marquee home and neutral-site matchups, including visits from UCLA and Michigan plus nonconference games against Syracuse, Arkansas, and Kentucky before league play ramps up.
