• O'Reilly Auto Parts employee arrested for false car battery warranty claims, EPD says (14news.com) — Evansville police say an employee at the O'Reilly Auto Parts on North Green River Road is accused of submitting fake car battery warranty claims under real customers' names and taking about $1,250 from the register. Officers report the alleged scheme, uncovered when a customer tried to file a legitimate claim, led to fraud, theft, and marijuana possession charges and a booking into Vanderburgh County Jail.
