White River Travel Ban Lifted as Hamilton County Extends Flood Disaster Declaration (larryinfishers.com) — Fishers residents should know the city's flood disaster emergency has expired, even as Hamilton County keeps its broader disaster declaration in place and reopens the White River to recreation. Mayor Scott Fadness opted not to extend Fishers' order, but some local roads and parks near Fall Creek and the White River remain closed while countywide recovery and federal assistance efforts continue.
   

2. Allisonville & 116th roadwork on track for October completion (youarecurrent.com) — If you drive through the Allisonville Road and 116th Street intersection in Fishers, expect construction to continue into late October as crews extend turn lanes, resurface pavement and repair business entrances. A new $346,000 change order adds fixes to a dozen damaged approaches, replacing an earlier roundabout plan with upgraded signals and lane improvements residents can track at FishersIN.gov.
   

3. No. 7 Lawrence North shuts out Fishers 48-0 (wthr.com) — Fishers football fans saw a rough home night as Lawrence North blanked the Tigers 48-0 in Fishers, leaving the team scoreless through two games this season. After back-to-back shutout losses to Carmel and Lawrence North, Fishers now turns its focus to a crucial home matchup against conference rival Noblesville next week.
   

4. Triumph bringing Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded tour to Fishers this November (readthereporter.com) — Rock fans in Fishers can catch Canadian legends Triumph at Fishers Event Center on Friday, Nov. 27, with special guest April Wine. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster, and $1 from each ticket benefits SoundsUnite, supporting free music resources and wellness programs for marginalized youth.
   

5. TobyMac's Hits Deep Tour coming to Fishers Event Center (larryinfishers.com) — Fishers residents can look forward to TobyMac's Hits Deep Tour 2027 hitting Fishers Event Center on Friday, March 5, with Jeremy Camp, Seph Schlueter and Katy Nichole joining the lineup. A venue presale starts Sept. 9 using password HITSDEEP, followed by general sales Sept. 10 through Fishers Event Center, with discounts available for groups of four or more.
