McCordsville man faces sexual battery charge following incident with restaurant co-worker (greenfieldreporter.com) — A McCordsville man is facing sexual battery and public nudity charges after an alleged June incident involving a 17-year-old co-worker at the Subway on North State Street in Greenfield. Greenfield police say the girl reported unwanted touching and coercion attempts, and a judge has ordered a cash bond, a 15-day hold, and a no-contact order while the case proceeds.
4. Bert Leo Potter dies at 88 (themountaineagle.com) — Greenfield residents are mourning the passing of 88-year-old Bert Leo Potter, a longtime craftsman and Marine Corps veteran who made his home here after growing up in Kentucky. His wife Regina and daughter Michelle in Greenfield, along with extended family and friends, remember him for his deep faith, handiwork, and the many lives he quietly touched.
