(heavy.com) — Hammond remains the Chicago Bears' publicly stated "sole focus" for a new stadium and mixed-use development, with team officials actively studying two local sites and working with Indiana leaders. Newly released emails, however, show the Bears also kept high-level conversations going with Illinois officials, suggesting they're preserving leverage and options even while concentrating resources on a Hammond project.
