Delphi Double Homicide Investigation Continues Nationwide
Indiana State Police officials update and correct information aired during Megan Kelly TODAY segment regarding Delphi Murders investigation.

DELPHI, IN -- Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter and members Liberty German's family appeared on a live segment of the Megyn Kelly TODAY show Monday, Jan. 15 in efforts to help keep the double homicide of German and Abigail Williams in the public eye, ISP says. There was a similar appearance on the Dr. Phil show at the end of 2017, and information has been shared with numerous police agencies across the county in efforts to develop investigative leads in the Feb. 2017 double murders, ISP reports.
ISP reports an agency in Tennessee shared the information on their Facebook page and added to it, stating “FBI has extended the search into south eastern Tennessee counties including Bledsoe." However, ISP notes this is a nationwide search for the person or persons wanted for the murders of Abby and Libby. The Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department has updated their Facebook site which now states, “To Clarify this suspect HAS NOT BEEN SEEN IN BLEDSOE COUNTY or any other counties in Tn. It is a nationwide search.” The current Facebook post can be found on the Bledsoe County Sheriff's Department Facebook page.
In a release, ISP says, "The timing of the original Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department Facebook post and the live airing on the Megyn Kelly TODAY show resulted in misinformation being shared on the show and the purpose of this release is to correct the inadvertent misinformation."
