Ames Choral Society Concert "Born on the 4th of July"

The Ames Choral Society presents its summer concert, "Born on the 4th of July", Saturday, June 28, 7 pm. Directed by Steve Hoifeldt, the family-oriented

concert will feature patriotic and other American music by

composers George M Cohan, Stephen Foster, and Ames composers, Clark Ford and Max Exner.

The audience will join the Ames Choral Society in a sing-along of

familiar songs. Admission at the door is $10 for individuals and $15 for

On Thursday July 3 at 7:00 pm the Ames Choral Society will present the preshow

entertainment at the Ames Municipal Band Concert at Reiman Gardens.

During the 8:00 pm Municipal Band concert the group will perform a medley of

patriotic music with the band under the direction of Michael Golemo.
