The draft MTP document was developed through a community-driven process that establishes a vision for the future of transportation in the Ames metropolitan area, and can be accessed at www.CityOfAmes.org/forward45 under the “Get Involved” section. The Ames Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) is accepting comments on the draft MTP through Oct. 22.
“Because this is a draft plan, we’re looking for public feedback to confirm that the recommendations in the document line up with what we’ve heard throughout this entire process,” said Kyle Thompson, Transportation Planner for the AAMPO.
