Ames Homewood Clubhouse Ribbon-Cutting Is On May 10
The event will be held at noon on Monday, May 10, at the golf course at 20th Street and Duff Avenue.

The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Homewood Golf Course Clubhouse. The event will be held at noon on Monday, May 10, at the golf course at 20th Street and Duff Avenue. The new clubhouse includes a community room that will be available year-round to rent for social gatherings. It features a stone fireplace, beautiful views of the golf course, large windows with generous natural light, energy-efficient appliances, and an outdoor patio surrounded by trees.

Participants attending the ribbon-cutting event should wear a mask and maintain a distance of at least six feet from others. Those unable to attend may experience the event live through City of Ames Facebook (@CityOfAmes) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/AmesChannel12)
Homewood Golf Course, a public nine-hole course, is open for the season. Golfers should call 515.239.5363 to check-in or reserve their tee time. The Parks and Recreation Department manages 38 parks and offers approximately 180 athletic, aquatic, instructional, and wellness programs. Indoor programs are provided year-round at the Community Center, Ames/ISU Ice Arena, and Municipal Pool.
