The City of Ames has based its facility opening and closing decisions on protecting the health and safety of its customers and City staff. As monitoring of local, state, and federal guidelines for best practices in containing the COVID-19 virus has continued, the decision to further delay the opening of Homewood to May 1 was made.

Additional rules and expectations for safe, social distancing practices to protect golfers and staff will be implemented. These new policies will be posted on the Department’s homepage and at the golf course.
