Ames Parks And Recreation Facilities Hours Update

The facility will now be open from 8 a.m. to noon.

Ames Parks and Recreation has revised its facility hours and temporarily suspended certain recreation opportunities in response to Governor Kim Reynolds’ recent emergency proclamation regarding public health protocols. The following are revised from earlier posted information.

  • The open hours for the Community Center have been revised for Friday, Nov. 27. The facility will now be open from 8 a.m. to noon.
  • The Ames/ISU Ice Arena will be open Friday, November 27 for Figure Freestyle from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., and Stick & Helmet from 3 to 4 p.m. Participants must register in advance.
