Join Ames Parks and Recreation in helping support a local food bank at a Public Wellness Food Drive from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at First Christian Church parking lot, 611 Clark Ave. Donations can include non-perishable items, canned goods, and/or monetary donations. Drop donations off in the parking lot at the church.

Ames Parks and Recreation Department manages 36 parks and offers approximately 180 athletic, aquatic, instructional and wellness programs.
