Ames TV, Ames Public Access TV Off Air For Planned Maintenance

Ames Public Access TV (Mediacom channel 121-16) will be undergoing some scheduled maintenance and will be off the air on December 12.

Ames TV (Mediacom channel 12-1 and 12-2) and Ames Public Access TV (Mediacom channel 121-16) will be undergoing some scheduled maintenance and will be off the air from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, December 18. This is planned maintenance to upgrade the station servers and increase picture quality.

All Ames TV (also called “Channel 12”) programming is always available for videostreaming from the City’s website (www.CityofAmes.org), and there is an archive of previously recorded City Council and City board and commission meetings. Also, AmesTV programming is available on the City’s YouTube channel (AmesChannel12).
