City Of Ames Offices Closed On February 15 For Presidents Day

Most City of Ames departments and divisions will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15, in recognition of Presidents Day. Additionally, the Ames Public Library lobby continues to be closed, and no curbside service will be available on Feb. 15. The exceptions include:

• The Community Center, located in City Hall, will be open regular hours (6 a.m. to 9 p.m.).
• Municipal Pool will be open for adult lap swim, water walking, and lessons. For schedule information or to register, visit www.cityofames.org/prcalendars
• Ames/ISU Ice Arena will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Public Skate. To register for Public Skate, visit www.cityofames.org/prcalendars
• The Resource Recovery Plant, 110 Center Ave., will be accepting garbage (7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). However, the office will be closed.
• CyRide buses will run a regular weekday schedule.

The Story County Clerk of Court Office, located in Ames City Hall, will be open regular hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
