City Of Ames Offices Closed On Labor Day

Most City of Ames departments and divisions will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in recognition of Labor Day. Offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Labor Day holiday closures include:

• Ames Public Library
• Resource Recovery Plant
• Community Center and Weight Room facilities
• Municipal Pool

CyRide buses will operate a normal weekday schedule on Monday, Sept. 7, due to Iowa State University holding classes as normal. For more information about bus schedules, visit www.cyride.com

Ames/ISU Ice Arena will be open on Monday, Sept. 7, for Public Skate from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Stick and Helmet from 3 to 4:30 p.m., and Figure Freestyle from 5 to 6:30 p.m. For Public Skate sign-up, visit www.amesparkrec.org

Home wood Golf Course will be open on Monday, Sept. 7. Tee times are required. To reserve a tee time, visit www.amesparkrec.org or call 515.239.5363. For more information on recreational facilities, visit www.cityofames.org/parkrec
