The Humanitarian Award recognizes and honors a worthy individual whose contributions to our community demonstrate extraordinary quality, including efforts to promote diversity, fairness, and equality. To be eligible to receive the award, the nominee must be a resident of Ames. The recipient of the award will be recognized during the community celebration of the Rev.
