Duff Avenue In Ames Detour Until June 19
Duff Avenue, from 24th Street to Grand Avenue, will close at 7 a.m. on June 17, and reopen at 5 p.m. on June 19, for a restriping project.

Duff Avenue, from 24th Street to Grand Avenue, will close at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, and reopen at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 19, for a restriping project. There will be no through traffic allowed. Motorists will not be able to turn east onto Duff Avenue from Grand Avenue. Motorists traveling north on Duff Avenue will need to detour at 24th Street. Residents will be allowed to enter Duff Avenue to access their homes.

The restriping project will create bike lanes and/or parking areas along Duff Avenue and 30th Street. The restriping project covers Duff Avenue from16th Street north and 30th Street west to Hoover Avenue.
