Homewood Golf Course Open In Ames Through Friday

“At Ames Parks and Recreation, we want to thank everyone who golfed at Homewood Golf Course in 2020,” said Nate Pietz, Recreation Manager. “We anticipate the new Homewood clubhouse will open at the beginning of April 2021, and we are looking forward to the golf course reopening approximately the same time. We appreciate your business and look forward to another outstanding season in 2021.”

Golfers interested in working on their game during the offseason should consider Ames Parks and Recreation youth and adult indoor winter golf lessons. New sessions will start in January 2021. For more information, visit www.amesparkrec.org or call the Community Center at 515.239.5350.

The Parks and Recreation Department manages 38 parks and offers approximately 200 athletic, aquatic, instructional, and wellness programs. Indoor programs are provided year-round at the Community Center, Ames/ISU Ice Arena, and Municipal Pool.
