Due to unseasonably warm weather, Homewood Golf Course will remain open through Monday, Nov. 9. The course will close for the season on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Homewood Golf Course is a public nine-hole course located at 20th Street and Duff Avenue. Tee times are required. To reserve a tee time, visit www.amesparkrec.org or call 515.239.5363. Indoor restrooms are not available because the Homewood Golf Course clubhouse is under construction, but portable restrooms are located near the first tee.
Golfers interested in working on their game during the offseason should consider Ames Parks and Recreation youth and adult indoor winter golf lessons. New sessions will start in January 2021. For more information, visit www.amesparkrec.org or call the Community Center at 515.239.5350.

The Parks and Recreation Department manages 38 parks and offers approximately 200 athletic, aquatic, instructional, and wellness programs. Indoor programs are provided year-round at the Community Center, Ames/ISU Ice Arena, and Municipal Pool.
