The project is needed due to severe and continuing erosion of the slope to the east of Hole No. 4 at Homewood Golf Course. This erosion is threatening to destroy this area of the golf course, an adjacent segment of the Skunk River Trail, and a section of sanitary sewer trunk main.
Trucks will be entering and leaving the construction site via the east Inis Grove parking lot and 24th Street. Inis Grove Park visitors are asked to not park along the east side of the park’s east parking lot. All are encouraged to take note of this construction activity in the area and allow extra travel time as delays may occur. As always, caution should be exercised when traveling through the construction area. For safety reasons, please keep children and pets away from the construction zone.
