ISU Headed to Kansas to Play UConn in the NCAA Tournament

Limited tickets are available to season ticket holders who are also Cyclone Club members.

 

Cyclones Mens Basketball Team learned on Sunday that it will play in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005.

The Cyclones (22-10) will enter as a No. 8 seed and play No. 9 seed University of Connecticut (20-13) in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday at the KFC YUM! Center.

The announcement was made Sunday and celebrated at a free public event at Hilton Coliseum. Cyclones.com has set up a fan page here. Tipoff is at 8:20 p.m. CDT.

A limited number of tickets will be available to season ticket holders who are also members of the Cyclone Club at Iowa State Athletics Ticket Office. Members of the Cyclone Club's top tiers have first dibs.

Other fans can find tickets at the NCAA's site here. Tickets ranged from $180 to $243.
