Here's what's really going on (local12.com) — A refinery in Catlettsburg has been undergoing maintenance, temporarily limiting gasoline supplies to some stations in Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio and leaving a few pumps dry. Fuel analysts stress this is a short-term allocation issue, not a true shortage, and say supplies should stabilize as the Catlettsburg facility and others complete maintenance in the coming days.
