London, KY Man Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on Hal Rogers PKWY (clayconews.com) — A London man died after a three-vehicle crash Saturday night on Hal Rogers Parkway about five miles west of town, involving a motorcycle and two Chevrolets. Three London residents were taken to St. Joseph Hospital London, where the motorcyclist later passed away and the other drivers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Women's Basketball Signs In-State Brooke Nichelson for 2026-27 (boonevillesentinel.com) — A standout London native, guard Brooke Nichelson of North Laurel High School, has signed with Eastern Kentucky University women’s basketball for the 2026–27 season. 3. KSP Traffic Checkpoints Set in 7 Southern Ky Counties (clayconews.com) — Kentucky State Police Post 11 in London is rolling out periodic traffic safety checkpoints and stepped-up patrols across its seven-county coverage area, including Laurel County. Troopers will target impaired driving, seat belt violations, and registration or equipment issues, with all checkpoint sites pre-approved and clearly marked. Residents can review the full list of checkpoint locations on KSP’s website.
   

4. Mt. Vernon, KY Man Arrest, $10,000+ Theft Indictment in London (clayconews.com) — A Mount Vernon man was arrested within London’s city limits on KY 192 after a Laurel County grand jury indicted him on a felony theft charge of $10,000 or more. He’s being held in the Laurel County Correctional Center on more than $11,000 in combined cash bonds stemming from the indictment and a separate Pulaski County bench warrant.
