Tip #1: Start Meal Prepping

Cooking food at home instead of going out is a great start to a healthier lifestyle, since you are in control of how it is prepared. Incorporating plant-based fruits and vegetables in your recipes is an easy way to maintain a nutrient dense diet.

Tip #2: Watch Portion Sizes

Get out those measuring cups and see how close your portion sizes are to the recommended serving sizes on the Nutrition Facts label! Half of your plate should consist of fruits and veggies, and the other half should be 25% lean protein and 25% grains.

Tip #3: Make Half Your Plate Fruits and Vegetables

Fruits and veggies add color, fiber, flavor, vitamins, and minerals to your plate. Start by incorporating 2 cups of fruit and 2 ½ cups of veggies in your diet, daily. Fresh options are the best way to have a balanced meal.

Tip #4: Keep Tempting Foods Out of Your House

The key here is self-control, but if you can’t practice self-control for certain types of foods like cookies and chips in your home, then it’s important to leave them at the grocery store and only eat them when you go out to lunch or dinner.

Tip #5: Be Active

Physical activity can help you stay healthy, happy & fit. Start with 10 minutes each day and build yourself up to 2 hours and 30 minutes each week, which is recommended by the American Heart Association. Finding an activity that’s fun is an important first step.

Tip #6: Drink More Water

This one’s easy. Reach for a tall glass of water, instead of sugar-sweetened drinks. Aim to drink 8-10 glasses of water per day. Squeeze a lemon into your water as a natural way to support heart health as a good source of vitamin C.

Tip #7: Try New Recipes

This can help you from being bored with your food choices and add more variety to your diet. Spice things up by incorporating some of our superfood smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and handcrafted bowls into your diet.

  • Superfood Smoothies. Unlock the simplicity of a healthier lifestyle with our handcrafted whole fruit and vegetable smoothies. We take pride in creating blends that are free from ice, fillers, and syrups, ensuring a pure and authentic taste.
