• Coroner: 2 brothers died in hazardous material incident at Empire fish plant (fox8live.com) — Two brothers from Gretna were identified as the men who died in a hazardous materials incident at the Daybrook Fisheries plant in Empire on Sept. 4. The Plaquemines Parish coroner says their exact cause of death is still under review by the Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office, with final findings expected in about a month.
