• TPSO searching for two runaway juveniles who may be in EBR Parish (unfilteredwithkiran.com) — Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking Hammond-area residents to help find two 15-year-old girls last seen Tuesday night around West University Avenue near I-55 in Hammond. Deputies believe they may now be in East Baton Rouge Parish and have released detailed descriptions. Anyone with information can call TPSO or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa.
   

• Southeastern opens military museum with 1,000 artifacts (neworleanscitybusiness.com) — Southeastern Louisiana University is opening the free HIPS Military Museum on its Hammond campus Aug. 26, giving residents access to more than 1,000 military artifacts. Located in Fayard Hall on North Oak Street, the museum will offer weekday public hours and a hands-on learning lab for students. The first exhibit focuses on the Nuremberg Trials and international justice.
