• It's been 20 years since a Boston man disappeared in Maine (wmtw.com) — Investigators in Maine are revisiting a 20‑year‑old Boston missing‑person case that now includes renewed interest in land off Ross Road in Saco, where police recently spoke with a local property owner. Authorities say they are using advanced search tools and believe they are getting closer, and they're again asking anyone with information to contact Portland police or the FBI. 
• Solo Angler Boats 529-Pound Swordfish Off Maine Coast (alloutdoor.com) — An offshore angler recently brought a massive 529‑pound swordfish into Norwoods Marina in Saco after hooking it in Saco Bay, and the catch is now being reviewed as Maine's first rod‑and‑reel state record for the species. The solo fight lasted about 90 minutes and required multiple harpoon attempts before the fish could be secured and officially weighed.
