• A Maryland county turned down $110M to fight data centers, but they are going up anyway (wusa9.com) — Adamstown residents are watching massive data centers rise on the former Eastalco site even after Frederick County rejected a $110 million community benefits deal that included school upgrades and a new fire tanker. With construction moving ahead under existing approvals, locals now face the prospect of increased industrial risk and no guaranteed funding for Carroll Manor's fire company, schools, or parks unless new negotiations succeed.
