2 Girls Accused Of Scratching Car With Rock: Police
Two girls are potentially facing charges for what Annapolis Police are calling malicious destruction of property.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — Two girls are being accused of destruction of property, according to the Annapolis Police Department.
A Thursday release issued by the department states police were called Wednesday around 8:50 p.m. to the 2000 block of Allen Drive after two girls were seen scratching a car with a rock.
Police were alerted to the scene by a woman who said she witnessed the girls using a rock to write "obscene messages/drawings" on a blue Honda Civic.

"The witness also stated the girls threw the rock at the car once done scratching it," reads the release.
Police said charges were applied for in the case after all parties were identified.

It's unclear if all three individuals knew each other or if the incident stemmed from an ongoing altercation.
Also unknown are the ages of the girls and the specific charges that police are considering.
