4 Annapolis Teens Charged in Home Burglary

A homeowner who heard noises in his house called police, who arrived in time to catch four suspects.

Four Annapolis teens were arrested for forcing open a window and stealing a laptop computer, according to police reports.

A homeowner in the 1300 block of Homewood Lane heard noises downstairs about 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 and called police. Officers found and stopped four male suspects, one adult and three juveniles, who wer walking away from the home wearing dark clothing and face masks.

A Sony Vaio laptop computer stolen from the house was reportedly found by police in one of the juvenile’s backpacks. All four suspects were arrested.

Eduardo Garcia Guzman, 18, of Annapolis was charged with first-, third-, and fourth-degree burglary and theft less than $1,000. Police say he was released by the District Court Commissioner on his own recognizance.

Two 16-year-old boys and one 17-year-old boy, all from Annapolis, were charged with first-, third-, and fourth-degree burglary and theft less than $1,000 on juvenile citations and released to their guardians.
