ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — An Arnold man recently won $100,000 on a scratch-off. That was his second top prize in the Maryland Lottery since 2015.
"I really don't play that much," the anonymous construction worker said Thursday in a press release announcing his win. "I guess I am lucky."
This victory came on a $100,000 Crossword 6th Edition scratcher that he bought in Annapolis at Chesapeake Market Citgo, located at 502 South Cherry Grove. That retailer will get a $1,000 bonus from the lottery for selling the winning ticket.

"I like to spend time with family and like to help out family members," the 45-year-old said.
This was the first top-prize win in the $100,000 Crossword 6th Edition game, which debuted on Aug. 22. There are seven remaining top prizes of $100,000.
Players have already scored four second-tier prizes of $10,000, and there are nine left. Additional prizes range from $10 to $1,000.
Tickets cost $10.
This win was Anne Arundel County's only major victory of the week.
Across Maryland
Around the state, 53 tickets worth at least $10,000 were sold or redeemed in the week ending Oct. 16. The Maryland Lottery paid nearly $28.1 million in prizes over those seven days.
The state's top prize may have been $1 million. Shady Grove Beer & Wine in Gaithersburg sold 20 Pick 5 tickets that won $50,000 each. If a single player bought all of those draw game tickets, Maryland has a new millionaire. None of the tickets were claimed as of Monday morning.
