BB Gun Used to Rob Drive Through: Annapolis Police Reports

From the Annapolis Police Department:

In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 87 calls for service and arrested 6 people.

Burglary – 100 block of Norwood Rd – 02/08 at 5:30pm to 02/09 at 8:30am: A blue Schwinn 10 speed bicycle, a blue 3 speed bicycle, a chrome beach cruiser-style bicycle, two antique rifles, and a Remington shotgun were stolen from an unlocked garage.

Armed Subject – 1900 block of West St – 02/09 at 9:50pm: Officers received reports of a man in a vehicle pointing a handgun at a drive through window attendant. Officers located the vehicle described by witnesses and at first the driver would not stop. The driver eventually did stop for officers after it returned to the 1900 block of West St. Officers found a realistic looking BB gun in the man’s waistband. The man was identified as Anthony White, 25, of Annapolis. White was charged with attempted first degree assault, second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and use of a firearm in a felony or violent crime. White is being held on $50,000 bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting
The next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held tonight, Tuesday, February 10 from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters, 199 Taylor Avenue. This meeting’s speaker is Detective Tom Pyles and the topic will be child abuse investigation. Food will be served so please RSVP to Cpl.
