New Gym Opens In Annapolis, Features State-Of-The-Art Equipment
A new gym opened recently in Annapolis. The 24-hour fitness center offers state-of-the-art equipment, group classes and personal trainers.

PAROLE, MD — A new gym called Snap Fitness opened recently in the Annapolis Town Center.
The 24-hour exercise facility has everything from state-of-the-art cardio machines to improved weight lifting areas. Group classes and personal trainers are also available. The center offers tiered pricing and a free smartphone application for members.
“We are thrilled to open our doors and invite the community to a better gym experience that provides a welcoming environment for everyone to feel comfortable in,” franchise owner Brad Callahan said in a press release. “Snap Fitness is ahead of the curve when it comes to providing exactly what gym goers need to achieve their wellness goals, and we’re here to make a positive impact on the wellbeing of our members in Annapolis.”

Callahan is an entrepreneur who started his first business in 1992. He currently oversees three lifestyle-fitness operations.
The businessman also has experience running hotels and vacation rental properties. Callahan's other enterprises included a cleaning service, a linen provider, a painting company and a power washing business.

Brandon Schuchard will run the Annapolis Snap Fitness as general manager. Schuchard is a certified personal trainer, and he has previously helped launch other gyms.
“Brad and Brandon embody everything we are at Snap Fitness,” said Ty Menzies, the chain's global CEO. “I’m confident they’ll positively impact the lives of many in their local community.”
The 8,200-square-foot gym is located in Parole at 2101 Somerville Road, Suite 120. That's just off U.S. Route 50, and it's in the same strip as Mission BBQ.

This is the fourth Snap Fitness in Maryland. The others are in Fallston, Joppa and Mount Airy.
