“We are excited that locals and visitors alike will not only have access to our one-stop-shop for all their day-to-day needs, but also have a place to enjoy a night out with friends and family trying out some great new Mexican fare,” Henry said.
Common Plate Hospitality owns Urbano Mexican Fare. The Annapolis eatery will be the parent company's fifth restaurant in the DMV. The other four locations are in northern Virginia.
“We are super excited to bring our elevated Tex Mex cuisine, cocktails and design to Annapolis,” Common Plate Hospitality Managing Partner Chad Sparrow said. “We believe with the new look and enhancements that is being done at Annapolis Town Center we will fit in perfectly and create a vibrancy to elevate the customer’s experience.”
The street party is scheduled for May 15 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Towne Centre Boulevard.
A DJ, Mariachis and a Latin band will entertain the crowd. Guests will enjoy a taco bar, beer, tequila and prizes. The night will end with fireworks.
Tickets are available at this link for $5. Proceeds will benefit Feed It Forward DC. This nonprofit donates food, supplies and toys to residents in need.
