Beyond training your dog

The question of how to train your dog depends on why you want to train your dog. Do you just want your dog to act civil at home? outside? or do you want to contribute to your community with your dog? One way is to train your dog to be a therapy dog. Many places offer training and testing will be in October here in Annapolis. We have begun our training and are working on not being distracted by strange objects. My goal this week could be yours: Practice walking by many different kinds of people, with and without canes, strollers, walkers and the like. Good luck!
