A few adoptable animals at Anne Arundel County Animal Control
Grammie is an approximately 15 year old spayed female DSH. She was surrendered to the shelter recently because her previous owners were moving and could not take her with them. In the short time Grammie has been here she has won the hearts of both staff and volunteers. This very affectionate and outgoing senior kitty would make a great addition to her new home. Grammie was surrendered with another cat and though they get along they do not need to go home together. On Saturday May 11th 2013 during our adopt-a-thon animals like Grammie, that are considered senior, will have their general adoption fees waived for approved adopters. If you have room in your heart and your home to let Grammie live out her golden years please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.
Kim K. is an approximately 8.5 year old spayed female DSH. She was brought to the shelter after her previous owner abandoned her in the home they were being evicted from. Kim K. is an extremely affectionate, friendly, outgoing and adorable cat. She is sure to quickly become a cherished member of her new family. On Saturday May 11th 2013 during our adopt-a-thon animals like Kim K., that are considered senior, will have their general adoption fees waived for approved adopters. If you are interested in this sweet cat please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.
Caitlyn is an approximately 2-3 year old female DMH. She is a petite cat weighing it at around 7 pounds but her personality is huge. Caitlyn arrived at the shelter in March. She quickly developed a severe case of upper respiratory but with a little extra TLC from staff she has made it back into the adoption area. Caitlyn is a sweet, affectionate cat that begins kneading as soon as you start to pet her. She is a staff and volunteer favorite. A frequent visitor of the shelter who cannot adopt additional pets has taken such a liking to Caitlyn that she has prepaid her adoption fees. She is free to an approved adopter and is ready to find her new home. If you are interested in this sweet cat please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Tank is an approximately 1 year old male Labrador mix. He was found in the Crownsville area in March and though his previous owners have been located they have decided not to redeem due to traveling too much. Tank is a friendly and outgoing dog who benefit from an experienced owner. Tank must be the only animal in his new home. A volunteer says, "He is a beautiful boy and very strong. He pulls when I first take him out but he settles down pretty quick and walks like a champ. He's a good boy who really deserves a home." If you are interested in Tank please come meet him at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.
