Fees Waived At Four Anne Arundel County Parks July 22-28

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — In honor of National Park and Recreation Month, Anne Arundel County's department of recreation and parks will be waiving the $6 daily entry fee at four of its parks July 22-28.

Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman supported the initiative.

"Anne Arundel County has fantastic parks, and I want to make sure all residents have a chance to see them," Pittman said in a statement. "Entrance fees can be a roadblock for many families, so I encourage families to come out next week and experience all that our county regional parks have to offer."

The four regional parks where fees will be waived are:
Quiet Waters Park - 600 Quiet Waters Park Road, Annapolis, MD 21403
Kinder Farm Park - 1001 Kinder Farm Park Rd, Millersville, MD 21108
Downs Park - 8311 John Downs Loop, Pasadena, MD 21122
Fort Smallwood Park – 9500 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, MD 21122
