ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Celebrate the holiday season and support homeless animals at the same time by visiting the Lights on the Bay display set up at Sandy Point State Park. The two-mile drive through a festive wonderland of holiday lights will put everyone in the holiday spirit. It starts Nov. 24 and runs through Jan. 1 from 5 to 10 p.m. daily.
The cost to enjoy the drive is $20 per car, $30 for large passenger vans, mini buses and trolleys, and $50 for buses. 3D glasses will be available for purchase to help the magical light show pop. All proceeds will benefit the animals at SPCA of Anne Arundel County.
There are two other special ways to see the lights. The Dashing Thru the Show Fun Run and 5K will be held Nov. 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Team up with the Annapolis Striders Running Club and observe the lights up close and personal. The first three finishers in the adult males, adult females and children 12 and under categories will receive medals.
